What is Luxsocks?
Luxsocks is one of the largest darknet market site for proxy servers, often also known as winsocks. These are mostly used to mask your real IP address and use a different, but legitimate IP address that will not be detected as VPN or TOR connection. Before you can access the market you will have to register an account which is an easy and quick process; the registration does not require an email address.
After activating the account, viewing and buying proxies becomes available. Purchased proxies appear on the right side, in the basket and in the History section in the IP:PORT column. The IP is our back-connect server and it can be different from the proxy’s country. That is the back-connect proxy, as they are routed through our server. Note however, your outgoing IP address will be the one that you bought, not the back-connect one. You need to copy the proxy ip and port and insert them correctly into the program in which the proxy is used.
After buying a proxy you can use it for no more than 24 hours. After that period, the proxy is excluded from the search results available to you for purchases. After the expiration of this time, you can buy it either in the History or in the Search results only if the proxy is online. If the proxy was previously purchased, a notification will be displayed in the information window. Please consider this if you do not want to buy a socks that you used before.
The entire range of proxy is filtered by blacklists and Ip type and additional options. Select the filter settings that you need from the upper-right block:
- IP Type: IP type – All, Residential, Datacenter/hosting, Windows, Router, Linux, Android, SSH
- Blacklist: PBL blacklist or not black (clean), XBL blacklist (black 50% off), No blacklist (extra clean).
- Options: Added today, Never bought by me, Remote DNS, No remote DNS
Security Recommendations
Same as with all darknet sites the usual security recommendations apply. Most importantly: stay anonymous. Use the TOR browser only and don’t use the TOR browser for any regular (non-darknet) browsing.
Ideally, you have a dedicated system or at least a dedicated VM for all your darknet activities. Keep your darknet PGP keys and other credentials limited to that system only, do not mix it with any activities that would expose your identity.
Treat your dedicated system like a work-system: Only install the software necessary for your operations do not install anything for entertainment or other purposes. Subsequently, resist the urge to browse Twitter, Reddit or any other social media sites while you have downtime. For this always use your regular system.
For additional system security, we recommend you run a secure operating system like Tails or Whonix on your dedicated system for darknet activities. We also recommend using a VPN as an additional security measure since TOR will only anonymize your browsing sessions but not other traffic.
Especially when using any public WiFi hotspots you should always use a VPN when accessing the Internet since you don’t know whether the access point is compromised. A VPN ensures that all of your traffic, no matter what application, will always be strongly encrypted when passing the access point, this protecting yourself not only from eavesdropping but also possible identity theft.
Luxsocks Summary
Luxsocks is a great resource if you’re looking for legitimate IP/systems for usage. Few other sites offer this vast array of different proxy servers and the interface is fast and simple. Note however, that luxsocks.ru might not work when accessing it from the Tor network – try a normal browser instead. As always, when visiting any darknet site or telegram group sure to only use trusted links, such as the onion link for Luxsocks on the top.
